Configuration Recommendation for Laparoscopic Equipment Towers
1. Gas & Power Specifications
SantaMed advises configuring standard medical gas outlets and power terminals according to procedure requirements. Critical note: Must support laparoscopic peripherals (e.g., insufflators) with dedicated high-flow gas lines.
2. Space Optimization & Airflow Integrity
For crowded ORs where laparoscopic equipment disrupts laminar airflow, SantaMed recommends:
Oversized equipment platforms mounted directly on towers
Minimized floor footprint to maintain ISO Class 5+ cleanliness
3. Ergonomic Equipment Management
Given complex endoscopic systems (energy platforms, insufflators, optics), SantaMed proposes:
Multi-tiered stacking on reinforced platforms
Heavy-duty swing arms (≥300kg capacity) for load distribution
4. Swing Arm Selection Guide
SantaMed tailors arm systems to OR dimensions:
Single-arm: Compact rooms (<30m²)
Dual-arm: Larger theaters with 340° rotation coverage
5. Display Integration Solutions
For endoscopic displays, SantaMed offers:
Ceiling-mounted TFT swing arms
Wall-mounted articulating arms (VESA compatible)
