During use, the monopolar cable plug is connected to the monopolar power output port of the high-frequency surgical device. This allows the high-frequency current generated by the device to flow between the active electrode (tip) of the monopolar electrode and a separate neutral electrode, or between the active electrode (tip) and the patient's body-to-ground capacitance, achieving the purpose of cutting or coagulating the intervening tissue.
Product Instructions
The monopolar electrode mainly consists of a monopolar handle, monopolar cable, monopolar connector (plug), and active electrode (tip). The hand-controlled monopolar electrode handle has two control buttons: the button closer to the active electrode is yellow and activates cutting power, while the button farther from the active electrode is blue and activates coagulation power. The buttons are labeled with "CUT" (cutting) and "COAG" (coagulation) markings, respectively.
