High Frequency Electro Surgical Unit

The SantaMed High-Frequency Electrosurgical Unit (ESU) is an advanced electrosurgical device designed to replace traditional mechanical scalpels for tissue cutting and coagulation. It is widely utilized in hospital operating rooms for precise surgical interventions. The SantaMed ESU generates high-frequency electrical currents (>300 kHz) through its active electrode tip. When the current contacts biological tissue, it induces controlled thermal heating, enabling tissue separation (cutting) and protein denaturation (coagulation). This dual-action mechanism achieves simultaneous incision and hemostasis.
